24" Dark green leaves that are wavy in comparison to Georgia Southern, but not as wavy as the collard cousin kale. Robust, tolerant of temperature extremes, Vates will grow well in all weathers and can be harvested all year (or 5 to 10 degrees in Midwest) by steadily harvesting individual leaves. Flavor varies more from hot to frosty weather than the Georgia Southern.
